Much like the name suggests, the Lily Oriental “Stargazer” blooms upward toward the skies, as if gazing at the stars. With its raspberry-colored petals rimmed in white, this fragrant flower attracts a variety of pollinators to the garden, it reaches a height of 32-36 inches during the midsummer. Best grown in partial shade or full sun, the lovely Lily Oriental “Stargazer” makes for an excellent cut flower, adding a divine touch to bouquets, containers, or gardens.

Notes: aka 'Florist's or Rubrum Lily'. 6-10 fragrant flowers on a single stem make this an ideal choice for the cutting garden. A good choice for the perennial border also as hybrid lilies mulitply readily and fill in the flowering gap between spring and summer flowering bulbs. When cutting the oriental stargazer lily, make sure to leave at least one-third of the stem to ensure that bulbs will survive for years. Great for pots.
