An heirloom dating back to 1893, the Galanthus Woronowii, or Green Snowdrop, boasts delicate 1-inch white florets with green markings. This charming flower, growing to a height of 6-10 inches, blooms from late winter to early spring. It opens to the sunlight and stays closed under cloudy skies. It is perfect for full sun or partial shade. Known for its deer and rabbit resistance, the Galanthus Woronowii makes an excellent groundcover and naturalizer in garden beds, borders, or containers, adding soft elegance to any landscape.
    • Suggested planting rate: ten bulbs per 1 ft²
    • Planting Location: Sun - partial shade
    • Height: 6-10"
    • Blooms: February
    • Bulb size: 6+ cm bulbs
    • USDA Hardiness Zone: 4-6
Notes: These Galanthus Woronowii bulbs produce small, white pendulous blooms with long, slender petals that drape delicately over the perianth. These flowers bloom early like crocuses and are very hardy. The green snowdrops are excellent for naturalizing under trees and in the grass, as they multiply rapidly once established and like moist, almost heavy soil.
