      Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Bleeding Hearts' is a hardy, clump-forming perennial known as the first seed-grown False Sunflower to feature no yellow in its petals. It is distinguished by its fiery red-to-orange blooms and striking dark purple-to-black stems and foliage.
      Flowers: Blooms emerge a fiery red, maturing into intense orange-red and finally bronze-orange over the season.
      Foliage: Features deep purple or bronze-tinged dark green leaves set against contrasting black stems.
