      Hibiscus 'Midnight Marvel' is a hardy herbaceous perennial celebrated for its dramatic contrast between deep wine-purple foliage and massive 9-inch scarlet-red flowers. Unlike tropical hibiscus, this variety is winter-hardy and thrives in cooler climates across USDA zones 4–9
      Foliage: Thick, leathery, maple-like leaves emerge light green but quickly turn a rich, dark purple-violet when exposed to full sun. In the fall, the foliage can turn a brilliant orange.
      Flowers: Produces huge, saucer-shaped blooms (8–9 inches wide) from Mid Summer to Fall. It is an indeterminate bloomer, meaning buds develop all along the stems rather than just at the tips, leading to a long flowering season.
      Growth Habit: Grows to a compact, rounded height of 4 feet and a spread of 4.5 to 5 feet. It has a fast growth rate once it emerges in late spring.
