      Named after the infamous character, the Hosta “Captain Kirk” is a symbol of bravery and strength, which is demonstrated in its resilient nature. Despite being small, growing about 16-20 inches, this commanding flower stands out with its green-edged leaves that surrounds a mix of gold and green. It thrives in partial to full shade during the summer months. Much like how Captain Kirk is commended for his bravery, the Hosta “Captain Kirk” was awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its high-performance and ornamental value.
