Also known as the Summer Snowflake, it flourishes from late spring into early summer, reaching a graceful height of 20-24 inches under full sun or partial shade. Emitting a subtle chocolate fragrance, this bloom draws in pollinators while deterring deer and rabbits.       Notes:This leucojum aestivum bulb is similar in shape and form to Galanthus, but much larger, later and taller. Three to five bell shaped flowers appear in spring on lush daffodil-like foliage. The sunnier the location, the more flowers but they will still bloom in much denser shade than most other bulbs. Uses include: cut flowers, borders, and especially naturalizing. It should be noted that the leucojum snowflake bulbs will tolerate very moist conditions and quite a bit of shade.
