      An heirloom dating back to 1824, the Peony “Edulis Superba” has graced gardens for generations with its timeless charm. Blooming in late spring to early summer, this classic variety showcases rosy pink double blooms framed by a delicate collar of ivory white. Reaching 32–36 inches tall, it thrives under full sun or partial shade, whether planted in garden beds or containers. Its lovely fragrance draws in butterflies and pollinators, while naturally deterring deer and rabbits. A truly graceful variety, the Peony “Edulis Superba” brings a superb flourish to any floral display.

      Notes: Prolific bloomer, producing 20 or more light pink peony flowers per plant. Nothing compares to a peony - huge flowers, up to 6 inches across, on strong stems with lush green foliage. A cut flower without comparison, they are also beautiful in the border as a centerpiece. We have freshly dug roots in good varieties adapted to the North and Southeast.
