The Tulip 'Golden Oxford' is a celebrated Darwin Hybrid variety known for producing large, classic cup-shaped flowers in a brilliant butter-yellow hue atop remarkably strong, weather-resistant stems. A natural mutation of the famous blood-red 'Oxford' tulip, this cultivar features pure golden petals, a yellow base, a very thin red outer border, and a sweet, moderate fragrance. Like other Darwin Hybrids (a cross between Fosteriana and Single Late tulips), it exhibits exceptional perennial vigor, reliably returning to bloom for multiple seasons
• NOTE: Tulips are highly appealing to deer, and they will aggressively graze on them. If deer frequently visit your garden, you must use physical or barriers to protect your bulbs, or choose alternative plants that they naturally avoid
